Sometime after midnight on the morning of June 26, 2012, a single vehicle veered off the road hitting a guardrail and tree. The PWFD rescued the driver, the sole occupant, and transported the individual to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries. Photos have been digitally altered.

At 17:56 on December 22, 2011 the Port Washington Fire Department received a signal 8 alarm for a truck fire. Responding units found a fully involved landscaping truck. The fire was quickly brought under control. The cause of fire was determined to electrical in nature originating in the engine compartment.
At 00:09 on the 28th of October the Port Washington Fire Department was toned out for an auto accident in the Village of Sands Point. At 2322 on July 23, 2011 the PWFD was activated for a motor vehicle accident (MVA) involving an overturned car. Fire Medic Co. #1 transported the driver to the hospital.
