Single Vehicle Motor Vehicle Accident

Sometime after midnight on the morning of June 26, 2012, a single vehicle veered off the road hitting a guardrail and tree. The PWFD rescued the driver, the sole occupant, and transported the individual to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries. Photos have been digitally altered.

Landscaping Truck Goes Ablaze

At 17:56 on December 22, 2011 the Port Washington Fire Department received a signal 8 alarm for a truck fire. Responding units found a fully involved landscaping truck. The fire was quickly brought under control. The cause of fire was determined to electrical in nature originating in the engine compartment.

PWFD Responds to Back-to-Back MVAs

At 2322 on July 23, 2011 the PWFD was activated for a motor vehicle accident (MVA) involving an overturned car. Fire Medic Co. #1 transported the driver to the hospital.
