Port Washington Volunteers responded to a multiple motor vehicle accident on July 3rd, 2012.
The accident occurred on Shore Road in the vicinity of Columbia Place.
Emergency medical technicians from Fire Medic Company #1 transported four victims with non-life threatening injuries to the hospital.
Firefighters from Atlantic Hook and Ladder Company #1 prevented automotive fluids from entering Manhasset Bay by deploying petroleum absorbents.
During the accident there was an additional aided alarm with Fire Medic Company #1’s third ambulance responding.
