PWFD Volunteers Respond to 200+ Hurricane Irene Alarms

As of September 1st, 2011 the Port Washington Fire Department has responded safely to over 200 alarms related to Hurricane Irene. The PWFD dealt with emergencies ranging from car fires to to exploded electric transformers. The Chiefs Office would like to thank all the volunteer members who turned out for Hurricane Irene and the aftermath.
