One of the
hardest things we find is explaining to people what it is that
we really do. Sure, everyone knows that the Fire Department puts
out fires and helps to save lives, but unless you've been there,
it's very hard to really understand the job that gets done.
This section serves
a number of purposes. First, it helps provide a very-rarely seen
glimpse of exactly what we do. At the same time, this section
serves as a testimonial to the courage and dedication of our
volunteers. Many of these photographs depict the "battles" our
members have fought, the lives and properties we have saved, and
sadly, sometimes the lives and properties we could not save.
Our photographs are
broken down into two sections that represent the three key
components of our job; Fire, Rescue, and EMS.
